Franchising FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: What is the cost of investing in a Hollywood Franchise™ or a Hollywood Franchise License™?
A: Unfortunately we don't provide across-the-board estimates as it very much depends on the specific franchise unit in question.

Q: What do I receive for my investment in a Hollywood Franchise™?
A: The fixed franchise fee, variable for each franchise unit, gives you the right to become implemented in our franchise system. Also sometimes included in this fee or charged separately through an initial setup investment package are allowances for: estate agents fees, legal fees, marketing fees, project management costs, pre-opening expenses, initial support, management or staff training, and other items we find to be essential to your success, hence they need to be pre-paid prior to you opening for business under our franchise umbrella.

Q: What sort of packages do Hollywood Franchises™ usually come in?
A: They come in many different packages depending on the business setup, i.e. store, shop, office, clinic, studio, agency, restaurant, temporary location, event, onsite service, delivery or pick-up drop-off service, home service, mobile service, web-based Internet business, home-based business, telephone service, etc. Combined, local, regional, or International setups are also possible.

Q: I would like to franchise in a specific area and in a specific industry. Is that possible?
A: Absolutely. Only with Hollywood Franchises™ are the possibilities truly endless.

Q: I run my own business and I have my own premises. Can I still franchise with you?
A: Absolutely. Only with Hollywood Franchises™ are the possibilities truly endless.

Q: I'd like to start my own business but I don't have my own premises. Can I franchise with you?
A: Absolutely. Only with Hollywood Franchises™ are the possibilities truly endless.

Q: How long does it really take to get started, once the application and everything else is in place?
A: Unfortunately we don't provide across-the-board timescales as it very much depends on the specific franchise unit in question.

Q: Is any previous business experience absolutely necessary?
A: Whereas it may not be absolutely necessary it definitely is desirable. Ongoing business support is always provided but we must remind you that operating a Hollywood Franchise™ is no child's play just as operating a business is no child's play.

Q: What are the chances of success with a Hollywood Franchise™?
A: The chances of success with a Hollywood Franchise™ are not only really high, but definitely higher than starting a business from scratch. This is the one and only reason we are still here today after all these years. Just as with any other business individual earnings depend on factors such as overheads and operating costs of individual units so there are no definite guarantees nor free rides.

Q: What is the deal really with a Hollywood Franchise™?
A: We don't necessarily need nor want to control your business nor your affairs entirely. In its simplest form, we handle your marketing affairs by affiliation through our franchise brand, increase your marketing, generate you customers, and in return you pay us franchise royalty fees. You focus on what you do best which is running your business and we focus on what we do best which is franchise marketing and branding. Hollywood Franchises™ proven track record indicates such a relationship is a privilege and profitable to enterprise on.

Q: As a Hollywood Franchise™ when can I expect to be charged franchise royalty fees?
A: It's impossible to provide franchise specific calculations that are personal to you in advance without a franchise in place but as a rule of thumb we use three methods. With method one, royalty fees are not taken until goods are dispatched or services are provided and customer payments are received. With method two, you pre-pay a balance from which royalties royalty fees are deducted or refunded back to you depending on periodic accounts. With method three, you pay a fixed franchise fee regularly and that is all you pay.
